ROVER JOINS FREIGHTLINER RACING AS THEY HEAD TO BATHURST

Rover is excited to announce our renewed partnership with Freightliner Racing in the lead up to the Supercheap Bathurst1000. We will be proudly carried on Tim Slade’s #14 Freightliner Racing entry as he teams up with Ash Walsh for theirattack on the toughest race in the Supercar’s calendar.

Previously, MTD Products Australia supported Brad Jones Racing when the team was in its early days of Supercars. Heading into spring, we are once again proudly supporting V8 Supercars with the ever reliable brand, Rover.

Richard White, the marketing director here at MTD, shares his enthusiasm at once again being aligned with Freightliner Racing: “We are pleased to rekindle the relationship with Freightliner Racing. Rover shares over 60 years of pridingourselves on the quality, performance and reliability of our products so renewing this relationship with a quality team likeFreightliner Racing was an easy decision to make. It’s also a bonus that Freightliner V8’s are Rover red! We wish the teamevery success for the rest of the 2016 racing season”.

Kim Jones, team owner at Freightliner Racing agrees: “It’s great to have the team at Rover back on board with us. Theyare a well-respected and quality brand, which everyone will recognize on the Freightliner Racing Commodore when wehead to Bathurst.”

When asked about his opinion of the Rover brand, Kim agrees that Rover really is the go to brand this spring: “Once FootyFinals and Bathurst are over I can imagine a few lawns and gardens will need some attention. If anyone needs qualityproducts to help create their perfect green space, they should look no further than Rover.”
